KWD Accounting exists to be the calm side of the ledger for owner-operated businesses. Boring compliance stays boring, the interesting decisions get the attention, and nobody hears from us at 4:59pm on a Friday with a fire drill.
Approach
Every engagement starts with a written scope and a fixed monthly figure. Cadence — monthly close date, HST filing dates, payroll runs, year-end review — is set at intake and doesn't drift. Software choice is pragmatic: we run QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Sage day-to-day, and we won't ask you to switch platforms unless the current one is genuinely getting in your way.
We keep the practice small on purpose. Small enough that you get the same person for the same work; large enough that a compliance deadline never depends on one person's calendar.
